Why are you bothering with the first year? Why don't you jump ahead to, say, fourth/fifth year instead? Give a brief summary about what happened from first year to the point where you jumped to, and continue there...
That is, unless you have something different planned out for the first year...

Canon Harry is anything BUT timid ...
If you don't believe me, just re read the books ... Pay special attention to how he interacts with the Dursleys ...
In Philosipher's Stone, he actually demands that Vernon hands him his letter ... He even goes to the extent of saying that those letters are his and he should be able to read it first ... That is not the behaviour of a timid person...
In the summer before second year, he actually has the Dursleys thinking that he can do magic ... And the best bit is that he leads them to think that without actively lying... And he torments Dudley!
In third year look at how he speaks to Vernon just before Marge comes ... He uses his uncle's fear of magic and being associated with the abnormal to strike a deal ...
He does the same in fourth year, only using Sirius as his weapon ...

has harry make a complaint against snape and mcgonagall. send a letter to gringotts asking for a inheritance, block, magic etc.
make harry gain lordship from gryffindor, ravenclaw, emrys, perevell, lefey, gray (the most ancient and powerfull house)albus can have the potter and black because sirius has neglected harry to albus.
make harry an elemntal (all the elements form nature light, dark, fire, water, air, earth, shadow, lightning, time, life and death) also the master of magic and the deadly hollows.

Thank you for the new chapter! I was really hoping that Harry and Severus would get along, but I guess that was too much to hope for. Minerva is a witch, I can't believe she took points from Harry and basically called him a liar. I hope she finds out how wrong she was.

It's a pretty good story I especially like how you portrayed professor McGonagall because her attitude in this story seems so close to the canon, and poor Harry he's having such a bad day.
