That's so sad.. Guess Harry is never noticed even when his parents are alive.

Poor Harry. I feel so sorry for him, being ignored by his parents. Lily seems to care a little but James is just a jerk. I really enjoyed the beginning of your story! Please update again soon!

Hmmm... Doesn't seem like a bad story at all! Just keep posting. And DON'T make us wait 6 months for each update... :D

There is no way James Potter would name his son Severus. And Lily would probably agree since she never forgave Severus for calling her a mudblood. And your claim of not being able to come up with a name is the lamest excuse I have ever heard in a writer.

It's a pretty good story so far and I am looking forward to reading chapter 3.

I just found your story and I really like it. Too bad that your giving up fanfiction for Lent, but I have to admit that I admire you for it. Does giving it up mean you can't read it or just not write it?

Fine ... That explains the Albus bit ... But not the Severus bit ...
See, I'm assuming that things were canon till your story started ... And according to that, Lily stopped being Snape's friend after his choices in friends (namely Death Eaters like Avery), his casual indifference to using the Dark Arts on people all came together and blew their friendship up into smithereens when lit by the fuse of the incident of him calling her a mudblood in public ... That friendship wasn't resolved as he then joined the Death Eaters (something he was planning on doing for a few years) ... Snape only joined the Light as a spy when he found out that Voldemort was targeting his precious Lily after he gave Voldemort that prophecy ...
So at the time of Harry's and his brother's birth, Lily hated Snape's guts. So why would she name a kid after him?
At any rate I doubt I'm going to change your mind ... You seem to be one of those Snape fans ... The poor kid is going to be stuck with that terrible, terrible name ... At least he is going to grow up basking in his parents undivided attention ...
And seriously what characteristics of Snape is Lily hoping to see in her son by giving him a name that will ensure he will be bullied for by the other children? Is it his bitterness? How about his pettiness? Immaturity? Or his ability to hold a grudge till the end of time? Perhaps it's his proclivity towards bullying children just because their long dead fathers did something to him when he was a child?
I honestly don't know what good characteristics Severus Snape has ...
Anyway, nice chapter! Can't wait for the next one!

its promising and i would like to say something to the previouse reviewers.
STOP CRITISING ABOUT THE BOLD PRINT. SHE ONLY USED IT IN AUTHOR'S NOTES.
but I do agree with your reviewers on the name Albus Severus and also i would like to point out Harry named his son Albus Severus. I understand Harry might want to name his son after his brother but not the full name.
Severus Snape is mortal enemies with James and he and Lily didn't really get on after him calling her a mudblood.
Albus Dumbledore isn't dead so I can't see why they'd name their son after him besides that Albus had done something very good for them.
I am sorry but I have no intention of carrying on reading this story. Feel free to PM me with ur answer to my review.
Well Written though. Keep on writing.

Cute ...
I think I shall give this review out in bullet points ... Why? Cause I fell like it
1. "Albus Severus"? Really? I have a hard time imagining Severus Snape's biggest enemy nemaing his son after the git ... And Lily isn't too enamoured with him either considering the fact that the two of them had grown apart by the time Lily married James ... Him calling her a mudblood probably had something to do with that
It's like Harry naming his son "Tom Marvalo" or "Draco"
And let's not forget the Albus Dumbledore is still alive ... Naming your son after the man while he's still alive (and there is no evidence of James having the same close relation Harry had with Dumbledore in canon) is a bit fan-boyish and frankly creepy...
2. While I appreciate you using the bold font to indicate parts taken from canon, the abrupt changing of the format (that too in the middle of the sentence) is rather amusing ... In an annoying sort of way ... Furthermore, anybody whose read the books can tell if you've taken parts directly from canon ... So really, there was no need to use the bold font...
3. What do you mean by "Lily's fate"? Voldemort decided to finish her anyway and he shot a jet of green light ... He's killed her ... He's killed her dead! She's dead! End of story ...
4. Severus Snape isn't going to be flattered that James Potter named his kid after him
Well that's that ... I would say the story is promising, but that's only one chapter so I really can't tell ...
P.S. apparently I'm your fifth reviewer ... *tries and fails at sounding enthusiastic* Hurrah!
