I think the only thing I'd say feels off about this is how often they say I love you. They both feel more like the type that it's just understood after the first time and really only needs to be said as an in serious moment needing undivided attention like when she tells him she wouldn't leave him just because of the inner hollow.

Still me forgot my password and can't reset it for some reason.
Yeah his hollow powers are way stronger than cannon like i said and it's great to see the real zangetsu get the sunshine instead of that soul fragment of the Quincy king that makes up his Quincy powers. So anyway that's it from me. Peace out :)

I don’t know if anyone told you in the reviews, but Isshin was Kaien’s Uncle, not his cousin. Also I always thought Rukia not recognizing Isshin was because she didn’t interact with almost any captains, except Ukitake and her brother, since before the timeskip she was only a 5th or 4th seat, I think, and probably even unseated when Kaien died. Plus he visibly aged a lot in those 20 years or more, and changed his last name so it probably just made it harder to recognize.
