Other than for the fact that I have no idea what just happened (why did Dean kill her? Because she's a witch? Because she's evil? Because she's an unknown?) I thought that the idea was pretty good. I like the way you write, and it flows in a way that is easy to read without all the fancy-pants additions some authors try to make. Good idea and please continue with your writing!
