I belong to a group called Cheatward and this was a recommendation to us! I am sorry but I wrote a really negative review about your story warning people off it. What you may ask because Bella and Edward did not get their HEA! But I must say in your story while I wished, and wished very badly that E&B would fix their problems and this fanfic there are times, events that HEA are not possible. Edward crossed a line having a 9 month affair and could have stopped it if for one minute he really thought so what he would lose when the truth came out but the line Edward crossed was sacred! He choose to have let's say it for what it is Kinky sex with her best friend! That is something a woman can not overcome, yes maybe with another woman whom she doesn't know but this, was her best friend! Edward was not or is not stupid he new it was wrong but events feel real good when they can be caught! It was like a little kid he gets pleasure doing something that his parents would not like!
The real thing in all this mess is that Edward needs to grow the fuck up! He is not a little boy trying to get away that his mother or father told him not to do! This has consequences and it is sad that in this case he can not move on because it is not Bella, it will never be Bella! Maybe in the future if Riley and Bella do not work out and Edward faces his demons and grows up maybe if they see each other, start meeting as friends and he tells her as a grown up Edward that faces his life with no blinders on that he is so sorry that he chose a slut trash whore pinto instead of a beautiful Mercedes. Maybe showing her he can be trust worthy than they may stand a chance! I know it is like a slit on a piece a paper but she may just go through the slit and try again! Otherwise I do believe Edward will live out his life and die also thinking what could have been but was lost due to his own stupidity!

Reading the first chapter in an EPOV is rather interesting. Angela may have set the stage to "come on to him" but he did not make a valiant effort to thwart her advances. It's like Bella said, a one night stand is a mistake. Nine months?! Eh, not so much. There was no great love between them (E/A). What they had was an adventure into the realm of the forbidden zone, a game so to speak. In the end he lost everything.

In view of all that has transpired within the story I do believe that this is the happiest chapter in E's POV. There is a sense of hope and closure for him as he embarks upon his own journey of self discovery.

What's really disturbing is how his mind views his actions. It's so warped. He didn't start it? An ongoing affair for nine months - who started it means nothing at this point. The fact that at first he was trying to play dumb added insult to injury. The very first time he did it, he had to know it was over unless he's mental unstable to realize that. The truth always comes out. The biggest thing that's so upsetting is him lamenting about how it's a fallacy that men who have affairs do not love their wives. Betraying them will send a clear statement that you don't love them. This nonsense about making love to her because that's what she deserved - separating it from the sex that he believes is different. Sadly, there are men who believe that certain things cannot be done with their wives sexually. That's the biggest fallacy.

Edward's POV doesn't engender any sympathy from me. It actually makes the emotional damage he did to Bella much more clear. He's a man who really doesn't even know the magnitude of his actions. I'm disturbed that there's no definitive reason for his affair. The sex wasn't as good? How many couples actually work through that and spice things up? Many in fact. She was a good wife and he ruined everything because he simply couldn't communicate with his wife. This is the most disgusting and unredeemable Edward I've every read. I can't feel any sympathy for the pain he created single-handed lay for himself.
