I thought you had to put something about unicorns existing or something... And shouldn't it be that Sinead and Amy were the only people, instead of thing? Or at least things... I'm not trying to be rude, as I so often point out, but to help improve the writing.

Nice job. Love the cliche with no one else available but the one guy that she is in love with.
A couple of comments.."she fell backagainst the cushions.", needed a previous line with someone placing the cushions under her.
Anesthesia is usually applied during surgery or because they are going to do some procedure. For this story, you could use nitrous oxide (laughing gas) or some sort of pain killer to loosen Sinead's tongue.
All in all, it is really well done and I love the descriptive adjectives that you use. Keep up the good work.
