I think you have done a good job of showing Joes internal dialogue and changing thought process. You handled the subject well in my opinion.

I went searching for Joe fics that weren't completely focused on him and Quinn and found this. I was not disappointed.

This is amazing. It's everything I've always wanted to read in a Joe-centric fanfiction. I don't even have words for how much I love this story. I have these incredibly complex head canons about Joseph that one day I'm hoping to write because he's a character I identify quite heavily with and reading this was so reassuring because it consolidated that other people can see the characterisation I can see but also this story brought other little things to my attention and I love how you've incorporated the events of this episode. I love how you've written him. I just want to sing your praises. Amazing work

This is one thing that makes me mad about Glee. I didn't see the episode with Joe, but I read about it and it made me mad with wha they did with Joe. Giving up his religion for a girl (Quinn)? Come on! And this is also what gets me about gay people treatment. People bully them because their gay! I'm a Christian and I don't approve of homosexuality, but I'm not going to go try and make the homos think that they need to die! What is the point in treating them like animals? I wish Glee would get one character that's a straight Christian. I don't think there should be many types of Christianity because one question stand in the end, "Do you want to be with God?"
I do like how you made Joe a striaght Christian instead of giving it up for a girl like Glee did. It was beautiful.

This is just...beautiful. That's honestly all I can say... I love how when Kurt asked Joe what he thinks about him being gay, Joe gave him the best answer. "That's between you and God. It's none of my business." And well personally, this kinda hits home for me 'cause I'm a lesbian myself and it just inspires...hope. :)

This is probs one of my most favorite stories ever. My faith is really important to me and I love seeing other people writing in this mindset, with a message of hope. I really like what Joe said to Kurt when Kurt asked if he cared that he was gay; that that was between him and God. I love Joe in this story and I think this is fantastically written on top of having an awesome strong message of hope. Thanks for representing Jesus in this story and showing who He really is rather than how most people see Him.

Okay, so I'm going to admit up front that I don't know first thing about Glee or its characters. Nevertheless, this is a very powerful story that struck home for me. Joe's realizations about Jesus and Christianity, earlier in the story, are things that I wish more Christians, and especially certain ones at my church, would realize. I love the message you've built the story around and the details you've filled in using the different characters' known aspects. I'm also glad that you've left the story somewhat open-ended by not committing Kurt to either showing up to the group prayer session or staying away. Kurt's hesitation to have anything to do with "church people" and Joe's initial hesitation to have anything to do with a gay person makes for an interesting dynamic between the characters. Anyway, great story!
