i 100% see him like this too… like i’ve read fics where light somehow still keeps L and mikami just accepts it and doesn’t do anything even though he’s jealous. i think this would be much more realistic to his character and obsession… i’ve thought of writing something on this theme myself as well, maybe i should actually continue
