This story feels so powerful to me. I can't explain it, but the image of Merlin kneeling in front of a cross just sort of hits me. I always feel awkward when I get a review that says "thank you" or whatever, but I actually want to thank you for writing this. It's beautiful! And I'm interested in reading more :)

This was really good! It's nice to read a story that is centered around a religious focal point. I enjoyed the little quote at the end as well.

I seriously adore this.
I am a Catholic, a very religious person and this is exquisitely beautiful. Merlin's reflection on how God died in a cross was just perfectly made. Especially the fact that his sad face looked more understanding, tying with the idea of a merciful God Merlin has. Which is true, actually :)
I never hoped to find anything religious on this fandom ( I usually go to Narnia for that) but I am glad that I came across this. It just shows how much God, no matter who you are, actually cares and loves.
I thank you a milion times for this, it was a real joy to read it and delight upon it. Love and Peace
