This is a bittersweet feeling. The ending is perfect, but it is the end of such a long process.
One the topic of this chapter in particular: you managed to keep me on the edge of my seat even for this chapter, because I know you are a writer who is capable of killing off people if you think it right. So I hoped and suspected, but wasn't sure if Shep would live. I think you made the right choice.
This is perfect in its bittersweetness and it is remarkable how naturally you managed to tell us so much about the aftermath. It could have easily been a boring info dump, but it was very interesting and felt like a natural, introspective thought process. I like the fates you gave to everyone and the hopeful, integrated future you paint.
And your take on the Reapers final fate is exactly what I originally thought of as a better ending than the canon one. You just did it with perfect skill.
Is Miri Miranda or someone else?
For old time's sake, there were two small things I noticed, but the only thing I remember is that you wrote "through" when you meant "thorough" once.
It has been a joy and a privilege to be along for the ride. Mass Effect is one of my favorite stories ever and you went above and beyond, elevating something I already loved to something close to absolute perfection, weaving it all into a logical and fantastic whole. The only thing I'm sad about is that you didn't do the first one. Because if you had, I could direct anyone not interested in playing the game to your stories and through that show them the wonderful world of ME.
Everything else I have to say, I think I already said in the previous review. Thanks is a poor word for what I feel. I am awed and incredibly grateful for the joy and sundry other feelings your work has given me. Your writing is the kind I aspire to emulate.
P.S.
If you ever do write something else, be it original or more fanfiction, I would really like to read it. I am of course following you, but still. I know you have plenty of fans, but I would love a comment. It is, after all, hard to keep track of people with aliases.
Cheers. And just once more, thanks.

Well, just for the public record, as one of the beta readers; it has been been my pleasure to assist in a small way. I hope I didn't miss too much and anything that did slip by was because I was gripped by the story.

"When the summer breeze is sighing, mournfully along,
Or when autumn leaves are falling, sadly breathes the song.
Oft in dreams I see thee lying on the battle plain,
Lonely, wounded, even dying, calling but in vain."
"If amid the din of battle, nobly you should fall,
Far away from those who love you, none to hear you call...
Who would whisper words of comfort, who would soothe your pain?
Ah, the many cruel fancies, ever in my brain."

Well hell, It's been a wonderful adventure you've given us for the past six years, and it's kinda sad to see it end, but all good things must come to an end eh? And what a fitting end to the series.
I also would like to thank you for writing the whole Razor's Edge series, it's been awesome, and really, the entire series should be classified as one of the best fanfic that has been written, kudos to you for creating such an awesome thing.
Some of the best thing I like about Razor's Edge series was how it managed to flesh out and give character to some background stuff that were only slightly touched upon in the main game and how you handled Shepard's and Tali's relationship, though the latter is more due to me having a soft spot for this kind of stuff, but the point still stands.
Anyway, again, I thank you for the amazing ride you've taken us with and I wish you the best of luck in your endeavours to come.

You really had me going there for the first half on whether or not he survived. Couldn't resist one last chance at suspense? Glad he did. Would be shame not to see the future he built. Or be able to needle Garrus on his newfound authority. Why am I not surprised in the least the Wrex and Bakara's kids are absolute terrors. Wrex probably encourages it.
Don't really know what to say. The Razor's Edge series has been one of my absolute favorite fanfiction series for a very good reason. It's been funny, exhilarating, and down right tearjerking but never boring. Not once did I think that any character was really badly written. It always feels weird knowing a series has run its course, always expecting a new chapter or story in the back of my mind, but you're right in that this is the perfect time to end. Not much else I can say besides thanks for all the hard work and good memories of reading this.
See you around

This has been a thoroughly enjoyable read. I stumbled upon your fics years ago and since then they have been the measuring stick for the quality in this fandom. I only find an author that surpasses your ability to weave such an enthralling Mass Effect universe.
My compliments for sticking to your work until the end, which is more than 90% of the authors on this site can boast, not only without any loss of quality, but with a steady improvement instead.
I'll look forward to read what else you may write in the future, whether it's about Mass Effect or not.
Cheers.

Good luck my friend, you wrote an amazing story that was a joy to read. You also caused me to seek out other authors that in turn inspired me further. Thank you, thank you for the excellent tale that brought the characters to life and ended on a climax and epilogue that leaves one feeling satisfied and yet...able to imagine beyond, just as the best stories do.

Again, I just want to say thank you for giving us this amazing story.
No other story I've read so far has been so pulse pounding and nail bitingly* exiting (I hardly have any nails left) so thank you and good luck in the future :)
*Not exactly sure if that's even a word.

*Sniff* Whelp, it was a good ride. Congratulations on completing an incredible story, one that even Bioware would have to admit is superior to their own. This series firmly hold the number two slot for favorite fanfiction and while I don't know what the future will hold, I seriously doubt that will ever change.
Good show sir, good show indeed.

... Words won't do justice to describe the enjoyment you've brought. Thank you very much. There is only one phrase I know that has ever been used to say goodbye in such an epic way, and in light of andromeda's western trailer: See you space cowboy...

I can't find words to describe adequately what I feel seeing the end of this fantastic story. I have laughed, raged, and more than once I have choked up. Of the thousands of stories on both this site and others, this is the one I hold at the top. The scale of the mass effect universe can make it difficult for authors to make it there own without falling into one of the many story traps (overuse of stereotypes, mary-sue, ext.) but you have created an epic to rival and in my opinion surpass what Bioware created. I was invested in every character, they developed as the story unfolded, and you made them people instead of simply two dimensional extras in Shepard's tale. I feel both satisfied that this story has gotten an ending that does it justice, but I admit to feeling a bit lost now. While I now both read and enjoy many other works on this site it was your story that got me hooked on fanfiction in the first place (despite my brothers scorn for all fan made productions, and my own inital scepticism). I have yet to find another work that has captured my interest so completely. All I can say is thank you for your time and effort that brought this story forth, it is and will remain one of my all time favorites.

Razor's Edge, as a whole, is what I felt like Mass Effect could have been on a grander scale. The improving on just about every backstory and plot device in the game was superb and well done, even though this made me shed even more tears in relation to Legion and Mordin. My only regret is that after seeing the story realized and finished, is that it is over. All I can really say at this point is thank you, Tairis Deamhan. I am glad I was able to stick around long enough to see this to the conclusion. Good luck to you and your future endeavors.

Been waiting till the end to finally write a review. :)
Sly author. I love how the final chapter was written to come across as bittersweet, yet we get such a satisfying conclusion in the epilogue that I wish could have been a possibility in the game canon itself.
Bravo to you my friend who taking so much time to create such a well written expansion of the games and really keeping to the lore and expanding it greatly. I always stopped what I was doing to the read each chapter as it was released.
I will always be amused how much of Razor's Edge mirrored my own actual ME play through. If I can't ever play the trilogy again, I can just read this and it would be the same awesome experience.
I'm honored I had the chance to make the cover art for this story as it will always be one of my favorites of all time. Can't wait to see your original work, I know it will be amazing.
