Your tone was very - knowing? That's how it read to me. Your imagery was striking, and I love how it was attuned to being "sensual" rather than visual. Also, THE SIMILE OF THE FLOWERS THAT MARK THROWS IN THE POND. I don't know, I really liked it - the image of the beautiful petals losing what was weighing them down (in this case the stems) and floating on the surface was very appropriate.

Thank you for humanizing Alisa. Even "nuns" and spiritual devotees have feelings, and your description of the physical sensations that accompany this very spiritual practice made her more than a one-dimensional character. :)
