Amazing! It's true though. I don't like District partner ships very much besides Clove/Cato and Katniss/Peeta. Let's see the pairings for the known tributes if everyone was with their District partner.
- Marvel/Glimmer
This one is kind of random. I mean, there wasn't any proof they had anything.
- Thresh/Rue
The age difference is large, and I think of them as brother and sister.
- Foxface/Unknown District Five Boy
Well, we didn't really see the D5 Boy because he died on the first day. And it's kind of a stretch to assume that more than two pairs of tributes were involved. But people can ship what they want!

Whoa, this is really good, I was looking for a nice career-centric piece and wasn't expecting to find this. In a good way.
It portrays good emotion, and there's definitely animosity/hate between Clove and Glimmer here. Glimmer's characterization is true to the books, though I always think she has the potential to be more than just a pretty face in most fanfictions, but anyway, she was very true to the books, and so was Clove. Who was much more expanded upon. I think the title fits the story perfectly, and oh gosh the ending...it sure was ironic :)

This is perfect! before I read this I didn't think much of marvel, but you've made me really like him, at least your interpretation of him!
I also like that you didn't pair him and Glimmer up, after all, not every pair of districts can love each other right? :)

I have been reading some very sad stories and this just made my day. This is the third time I have read this wonderfully funny story. I found I think about it even later and laugh. I will try not to read it before going out in public. I might frighten someone.
Marvel is not a likable character, but his view of Glimmer gave him extra points.

Oh my God. I love this. I LOVE this. The opening paragraphs made me laugh and the underlying humour was brilliant. The reference to Katniss and him remembering her name when she didn't learn his til the victory tour was brilliant too, I loved that idea.

Hahaha, just fabulous! I love what you've done here. It seems like everyone is so despereate to pair up district partners. Some of these pairings are pairings that I support and understand, such as Katniss/Peeta and Cato/Clove. But some are just ridiculous, like Rue/Thresh and of course, Glimmer/Marvel. So I think your take on their relationship was just what I needed, it was so hilarious. Thanks for this!
