Stumbled onto this yesterday from seeing it mentioned in the introduction of that Star Wars fic you're uploading now. I figured I'd give it a shot given how gripping your writing was for the first chapter of that story.
I don't know what I was expecting but this definitely far exceeded my expectations. The writing is on a much higher level than is commonly seen in fanfiction. The characters feel like real people and I can totally see this as a sequel to First Class that fits with how things turn out in the initial trilogy of movies.
Probably the most striking thing about this fic is the depiction of Charles' paralysis. Things are actually a lot worse for him then I would've imagined but yet he doesn't allow himself to be consumed by bitterness. In that light, Charles seems like a stronger character than he ever seemed purely from the movies or what scant little comics I've read. Those final lines about little victories are something to remember.

Sabe, eu esperei tanto que Erik cumprisse todas as suas ameaças horríveis que o final foi decepcionante para mim. Sua escrita é ótima e conflitante! Mas a quantidade de emoção que você colocou nessa história fez com que eu esperasse o pior o tempo todo, por tanto tempo, que acabei me decepcionando com o melhor

But searching for MCU recs, I've found your text and now I'm struck by quality of your work. It is long, with craetive plot, good, realistic characterisation and full of impressive examples of reaserch done. Altogether, it's well written, entertaining novel.

I kinda hope she doesn't tell them she knew what she was getting into when she joined and I'm tired of the brotherhood never getting a win like at least let them find some mutants to recruit like Avalanche, Quicksilver and Scarlet witch

It's been years since the last I read this. But I still remember the story. I was so surprised when I got the notification of this story after all these years, I thought there would be a new chapter. But I'm glad there isn't one because now I think the story ended perfectly. I love it then, I still love it now.
