I love this so much. I've always sort of liked Katniss and Finnick together, but Katniss and Peeta and Finnick and Annie are just a little bit more complete and natural, (And I LOVE that) And I've only thought it possible if Peeta and Annie were not alive because it's much too terrible that K&F would be together if they were still in the picture. But there's just something about Katniss and Finnick...
This fanfic is beautifully written and I love it! Definitely one of my favorites.

I like this story a lot. It's short, simple, sweet and something I didn't know I needed to read. It's a story about moving on from death without letting the plot dwell on said death. Thanks for making a story that should have been sad, actually help brighten my day a bit.

"But it's not till the blossoms are falling in early summer that she really, truly realizes that she loved him. Loved him with all her heart.
And he'll never know."" It is a sad fact.
""And Gale tries. Gosh darn it, Gale tries."" I really like this part. I can pretty much hear Gale saying this.
Its good thought that they have each other to talk to to and take comfort in.
I'm glad that Katniss and Finnick are left alone after the rebellion.
""They do not celebrate the snow. They do not marvel at its beauty, nor do they wonder at its purity. They simply wish it away, because nothing will ever hurt them as much as the first snow fall did."" They may never like snow again. I like that Katniss has her pearl and Finnick the jabberjay feather.
I like that they're slowly moving on, and becoming more than friends.
""Someone will sprinkle salt water in front of them as they walk home, hand in hand, and then they will perform a toasting.
It will be fairly spontaneous, they know that. As soon as the flask of sea water arrives from District 4, Katniss and Finnick can choose their wedding date."" Its a nice combination of both traditions.
""But Finnick and Katniss will be happy. They'll be happy because what they have is love."" I LOVE this ending.!

Lovely lovely, I like it a lot. A few grammatical errors, but really nothing major, it's still a really nice piece. Some brilliant description and I especially like the bit about Gale being her third choice... it's somehow fitting and exactly how he'd see it. All the best for your other writing endeavours anyway :)

I think I started to cry. This is how all fanfics should be written. You have a way with words. Try reading this while listening to the song Just a Game from the HG soundtrack.

I like this story. It's really sweet. When I first read the description, I thought it would leave me feeling like I needed more like I usually do with one-shots, but you surprised me. It actually feels complete, just the way it is. Not that I'd complain if you ever come back and flesh this out in more detail, but it's satisfying in its bittersweet simplicity which is something I don't often say about one-shots.
