The ending was so cute! I hate the fact I'm a guy, and secretly a hopeless romantic, but ill be the first to admit the ending was so freaking adorable and I loved it. Hope to see more gabrielle/harry interaction soon!

Okay, I was wrong about Lena. I am wondering, however, if his Boss (not Henri) would give him up to Voldemort.
Now ... Drew stayed behind in the locker room after Aries left. How long was he there? Is it possible he could have overheard the conversation between Aries and Sirius? If so, the Potters are about to get an earful, I should imagine.

Well, I agree that Zana was probably murdered. I'm also curious to know whether Sirius is Lena's father. (A lot of comments earlier in the story seem to hint at this, unless they are just red herrings.) They certainly broke up before Zana adopted Harry; but is it possible that they connected again briefly during the years she and Aries were moving around "like Gypsies"? If so, could that be another reason Aries came to Scotland ... to meet Sirius and get his help finding Zana's killer?
Who is the mysterious figure watching him? Is someone watching him to harm ... or to help?

So the Boss of this mysterious organization leans toward joining Voldemort and is attempting to manipulate things to force Aries and Rue into joining him. Hm. I can't see that happening.

I hope nothing happens to Lena, because it seems she is what keeps Aries tethered to this life. His friends call him an adrenalin junkie, but ... perhaps he just has a death wish. It sounds as if the organization to which he belongs does dangerous things, and many of his friends seem to be involved.
It will be interesting to see how the Potters respond when they do learn the truth about Aries. His age means Dumbledore can't medal in his guardianship as he does in canon.
BTW, I was hoping Aries would deck Dumbledore for placing Lena in the lake. I wonder who gave him permission to use her as a hostage? If the answer is no one, shouldn't DumDum be arrested for kidnapping? Just curious.

Emma nodded, her kind face suddenly dead serious. "Even gave the Mrs. a look at my star. They should be curious enough."
Hm. It sounds as if something is being planned for thr Potters, the Marauders ... and maybe even Dumbledore.
The ages of the various canon "players" seem NOT to be following canon, as Harry/Aries would normally be fourteen rather than seventeen, and Gaby would be younger, as well.
Aries sounds sufficiently damaged emotionally that those who know him are concerned. Then again, he was probably at that point when he was taken from the Dursleys. It seems as though becoming part of Zana's family had healed that damage and Aries was happy ... until her death ripped his old wounds open again. I'm not sure they can heal this time. Sometimes the wounds and damage just run too deep. I guess that was the case for Zana.
I wonder if there is payback coming to those who have wrought so much damage in Harry's life and the lives of those he loves. There are several who seem to be in line for a big helping. Could that be what his "group" does ... exact revenge? Just wondering ...

I am enjoying your story, which is why I am still reading. Unless I am sufficiently familiar with an author to know he or she updates frequently, I am reluctant to read a work in progress - especially one that hasn't been updated in five months. However, your story does have 19 chapters, and I was intrigued by the summary, so I decided to take a chance. It seemed a different kind of take on the usual TWT tale.
