The wolves may have ended Charlie's life, but Bella and Edward know very well why they did it. The wolves didn't see it that way at all - like they were murdering him, but rather they thought they were putting him out if his misery and saving him from becoming their mortal enemy, a threat to mankind. Charlie was already dead to them.
Mike don't understand why the Cullens expect the wolves to do all the fighting while they stand by watching like they think they are royalty. I get that Edward wants to protect Bella, but the rest could join the fight and should.

Oh MAN! That was fucking awesome! I loved every word of it. So exciting but also so sweet in how Edward loved Bella so much. Thinking after this Bella's going to be having a long, unpleasant chat with those wolves. They better run!

Fantastic! Bella's great. She's a real fire cracker, exactly what Edward needs. I hope she gets the opportunity to wear those wolves out. They were wrong to keep that from her and I'm glad that Edward told her.
