Everyone is still standing there. Edward is reading more of all the minds there. He is seeing more of what happened and who did what. Bella is asking him what is going on. Edward knows that he has to tell Bella the truth but knows that it will hurt her. He knows that the wolves have lied to her for years. Bella asks Edward again what is going on. He then starts to tell her that the wolves have lied to her. That they were the ones but he didn't get to finish. Victoria was now in the clearing and was yelling and pointing at the wolves to kill them all. Does Bella get to know what happened? Does Edward tell her what he read in the minds of the wolves and Victoria? What does Bella do when she finds out that the wolves had killed her father after James bit him? That her father was changing and the black wolf killed him? What does Bella do now? Next chapter!

Well, this is a turn-up for the books - could it be that, in your particular version of events, the wolves will be destroyed? If the Cullens don't go to their aid, can they repel Victoria's army of newborns? Undoubtedly, the wolves will inflict heavy losses, but the sheer number of newbies could turn the tide, and it seems unlikely that Edward will help, or allow his family to step in, now that he knows the truth of what happened to Charlie. The question for Bella to ask, should the wolves prevail, is whether they killed Charlie just because he was turning into a vampire, or whether it was a mercy killing. And now that Bella knows there's an alternative lifestyle for vampires, will she care what the answer is, especially in view of the fact that they lied to her from the outset? I guess the wolves will need to win this battle in order for us to find out the answers to those questions.

Got to say I hope that Edward does not tell Bella that the dogs were the ones to kill Charlie. They did what they do and really will it make any real difference? I feel the dogs did what they had to and saying otherwise would not be of any benefit to anyone. Victoria and the rest have to die and the Cullens need the dogs' help.
