Bringing in Edward was brilliant! I'm so excited for the awkwardness he is about to create. Especially as Bella really begins to understand her mate connection with Tanya. I also loved the scene at the end with Bella truly contemplating what she has become. It was a great way to end the chapter.
This is being added to my favorites even if you never finish it but I would love to see more of this story.

Seriously? People have complained about Bella's morals? Wasn't that a massive part of who she was not only canon but also throughout this entire story? It sounds like people just want her changed for simplicity's sake. You're doing great with her character-building! Oh, nice! I love playlists and do the same thing with my fanfics! Wonderful!

You definitely know how to paint a picture. I don't think it was over the top; I think it was just enough and felt right for the idea of what the Volturi are in this fic. The idea of hearing Kate's screams in the background especially added to the atmosphere.

I loved seeing Tanya have to deal with Bella disappearing. It's so sad to see her deal with it over the course of so many years and just know that it's inevitable. The strategic portion of this chapter was fascinating too; it's like you're bringing all the big points together and getting ready for a massive counter movement. I'm loving all the details.

I love the dynamic between Bella and Sasha. It's always great when characters dis like each other but have a common interest. And Kate! Oh man! It's crazy that you included her origin story. I'm very interested to see what the Volturi will do with her. Perhaps gift her to Sasha as a thanks?

It was the perfect time for a kiss! Bella is still questioning what is going on between them but the feelings are definitely there and it's obvious for Tanya. I'm honestly surprised Tanya lasted this long without jumping Bella in the current timeline, hah! Tanya tearing the phone away from Irina was hilarious and I loved Bella and Peter's standoff. It was also interesting to hear the idea that the Volturi keep the coven leader responsible for newborns they claimed. That was a good addition to the laws.
