I really love this story, and above all I love that you included italian words and phrases, since I'm Italian myself, and I wanted you to know that, if you want, I can help you with my language. In the italian language, like in every speech, there are many ways to express concepts, for example in chapter 5 when Ileen is asking her father if he got the cake it's better if you say "Hai preso la torta?" instaed of "Hai avuto la torta?" , since the verb "get" is translated with our verb "prendere"; and when she says "my babies" at the end of a phrase (like in chapter 11) in Italian you say "bambini miei" with the possessive "my" at the ect...

The reunion was sweet. Please when you get the chance to update, will focus on Ileen and Splinter's developing relationship from suddenly going from a single parent to co-parents and reminiscing on their lives before the were mutated.
