I think Emmet should've argued conflict of interest from the moment Edward was listed as a suspect. It's obvious he could not be objective and should've only be put in that spot if there was no other alternative

This might be one of the most sadly beautiful stories I’ve ever read—and that too with a happy ending. The writing is almost flawless, the emotions are so clear and well expressed… it was truly a joy to read this, however much I might have wanted to cry in between.
To anyone reading my review, just know that this story is absolutely worth its 300,000 words. It has angst, but it’s also hurt and comfort. Their dynamic is soft and gentle and mesmerising, and I promise you’ll be engrossed in this story, just like I was.
All in all, thank you, author, for bringing us such a wonderful and heart-wrenching story. I look forward to reading more from you 3

I’m glad to see the way you wrapped up this story. I was thinking a romantic relationship between Edward and Bella was going to be too much in this story but you did it tastefully. It’s unfortunate there’s not more closure on catching the other men who hurt Bella but that happens in real life all the time, not every bad person in the world is caught for their crimes unfortunately. Thank you for sharing this emotional story.

I don’t understand why Edward is so mad at Emmett, he was simply doing his job and siding with his pregnant wife over Edward is only natural. I guess Edward has so many feelings clouding his judgement but it sounds like Emmett is his childhood friend, so I don’t really understand this whole riff between the two of them.

It’s clear Tanya’s warnings about how strange Edward’s relationship with wisp is inappropriate is coming from a selfish part of her rather than concern but the more I think about it, the more I realize I think Edward probably shouldn’t be holding her in his lap like she is a child because it could be seen as inappropriate even if his motives are innocent. There is definitely some parts of their relationship that are quite odd to me but I’m hoping Emily helps Edward work through that to make his relationship with wisp healthier
