Hmmm, this may just be them in a rough patch but it isn't exactly healthy behavior for a relationship. Hermione is the more insecure of the two: Her literary career isn't the smashing success she thought it'd be and Ron is more or less living out his dreams and she's assuming he's not blind to the younger, prettier women drawn to him now. Ron, to his credit, isn't even aware of any of this and is just trying to enjoy himself but fails to see the deeper issues within Hermione.

I know other reviewers are calling her a bitch, but I can sort of understand Hermione since a Ron fan can recognize a character plagued by insecurity. Let's see where this goes.

Well, seeing how I finally have the time I thought I'd start a go-through of your stories. Closer is a large piece so I think I'll go through this before undertaking that project since I'd like to get it all done in one read-through and reading the new sequel piece you've put up would be rather counterproductive without "Closer" first.

Ron being a successful Quidditch Player is something I've not seen much in fanfics, aside from JustAnotherGuy's "My Last Cup" so it's a nice novelty to see here. Hermione NOT being some uber-success is also surprising and yet somehow not insulting to her character. Ron is apparently the better off one of the two, seeing how it's his friends and colleagues they hang out with whilst Hermione apparently doesn't have her own clique of fellow writers. Then again she wasn't exactly the "friend-maker" of the Trio.

You mentioned this Ron is still immature and insecure. While the semi-lewd comments do show some immaturity, I'm not getting an insecurity from him so far. In fact he seems more content than usual. Hermione is the more repressed one, with a lot on her mind that' quite contrary to her external self. I'll have to see where this goes.

Are you planning on an update of this story soon?
This was the first time I read it and I love it! The idea is very unique actually. Having Ron and Hermione still acting like they were in their teen years when it comes to each other and to show if they can still be together in a more mature relationship despite that, is very interesting. Hope to read more soon :D
