...Well, this was different. But I really liked it. I'm impressed by the way you worked in the concept of 'masks'. This is easily one of the best DouWata fics I've read, though I was cringing with embarrassment for Watanuki as soon as I knew what he was going to do (but that's probably a good thing - it means you did a great job). Anyway, like I said, I really enjoyed this!

I love it! Not only is it completely hot - the tension between the two was so palpable as I read it - but I loved the concept of masks that you've incorporated so well into this story. I think the mask thing is evident in canon as well, and it works so perfectly here. Thanks - I really enjoyed reading this.

Maybe I'm missing the point, but I don't see this as "PWP, pretty much," as you said in chapter 1. I mean, it is rather sexy (a lovely guilty pleasure to read some parts :D), but I also really liked your characterization of Doumeki here. The embarrassment (what is wrong with me I just typed that word 5 times before I spelled it correctly) and unsureness, but determination underlying it, that he showed when finally confessing to Watanuki seemed, to me, very in-character. I don't think he likes to show his emotions because they make him feel vulnerable/naked, and the way he finally dragged them to his surface for Watanuki was well-done.
I found it interesting that he has two Watanukis in his head, the fantasy-one and the real one. I wonder how his perception of watanuki will change after all this?

This was outstanding. I find the fact that they share an eye incredibly sexy, and I love when it is used as a keystone in building their relationship. I like it that you utilized it in a steamy way even more so
