Ok, so I generally make it a rule that I don't start in-progress stories because I have had some very consistent experiences with stories never getting finished, but your summary drew me in and I can now say I'm both inordinately glad that I broke my rule and simultaneously berating myself because this has been amazing so far but now I know I'm going to go crazy waiting for the next update, so seriously it better be a good one! J/K! No really, I've loved your characterizations of everyone on the team, I've loved the twist and addition of Natasha's daughter, and while I'm enjoying it, I was expecting the surprise pregnancy with Pepper. You've also done a spectacular job of working in Sharon Carter, who I'd heard rumors about and brief explanations of and it's easy to see how she could generally be an annoying character in my opinion but you've handled her integration into the groups so well that I actually really like her whereas when her character was first explained to me by a friend I found the whole notion oddly creepy. That in and of itself, the fact that you made me really like a character I came into the story with reservations about, speaks to what an amazing writer you are. When you add to that the way you've seamlessly integrated so much of the comic and movie stuff like Wade Wilson, the Extremis project, and so many more little things I have a vague recollections of but of which the specificity has seeped away in my mad 2 day read-thru have made this a truly excellent and enjoyable piece to read. I just love the way you show the Avengers not only becoming a team but a family and also showing how that family is really growing and not merely staying stagnant. I love the way you've interwoven the characters and the little twist you put on the whole cellist thing with Coulson because I seriously didn't see that coming and I'm not sure I've seen the Maria Hill/Phil Coulson pairing done in any other stories either which is saying something because I've read quite a few in this fandom at this point. Anyways, I've really enjoyed reading this story so far and I'm looking forward to getting to read more as you as update. Until then, Happy Writing ;)

I'm really glad I had a back-log of chapters to read, because I don't think I would have handled Tony's death well otherwise. Great story!

I hated you for 10 minutes, I was so sad that Tony died I actually stopped reading for a bit. And then I realized he's not actually dead so I love you and your story again. :)

But seriously though Pepper breaking things hurt my heart

Well that just rocketed back up to speed after the down time. I was getting a bit bogged down with the baby Stark fluff. Not that it wasn't nice but I like the action.

No big on the typos, it happens. And there's nothing to forgive; it's all part of a good story. I hope Pepper gets some ass-kicking in. Great job!

Oh yeah, go Bruce, whoop whoop!
I once read somewhere that if a writer does what their readers want, they hate the writer (probably because if you don't cause a lot of drama, the story gets boring) and if they do what their readers don't want... they are still hated. But it gets so interesting, no one can put it down! So I must say, very well done. You're making our hearts jump into our mouths, and squeal with excitement when a new chapter is uploaded.
I also love your attention to detail, mostly how Bruce was slowly putting the pieces together. Great job!

I was for real almost cried when reading this chapter, especially with Pepper's heartbreaking moment. I'm so glad he's not really dead though, this is one of my favorite ongoing stories right now. Seriously my eyes were stinging, a combo of your writing, hormones and the fact that my grandmother died 3 years ago tomorrow

SCROLL! Sorry, dunno where that came from. But honestly? THAT was perfect. And thank you for not leaving us in the dark. Even if the Tony and Hel show would have been fantastic. I dunno why, but whenever I think of Hel, she's always a dead-pan snarker. (No pun intended.) So, she'd be Tony's straight man, and yeah.

I loved the part with Pepper. And how close the world came to death, right there. Or at least the Ten Rings. I could totally see Pepper hunting down whoever SHIELD determined had been behind the death of Tony, with the Avengers right behind her. Though, I'm not sure if it's to help, or hinder. She's, very thorough in her destruction. It's kinda freaky. The world is very lucky that Tony and Pepper are on the side of the angels. Or at least that Pepper is, because where she goes Tony will follow.
