I love how in the first story Banky says how no girl could 'compare' to Holden and how in this story Banky gets to hear that Alyssa doesn't 'compare' to him. Maybe I'm reading more into it, but I still loved it and everything else about this fic. It was awesome!

This, now this is what fanfiction is all about: rewriting the story just slightly, in the way us fans want it to be written. You nailed this perfectly. You fit Banky and Holden together in way which is mostly cannon, totally in character, and absolutely heartwarming. I love Bankys "fucking fuck!" in the story before this. It's so in character, you could have very well been one of the scrip-writers. My favorite line however is "Banky bites down on the urge to call her a dyke, a cuntrag, a fucking bitch. He returns her greeting with one that's almost as civil. "Alyssa."" I literally laughed out loud. Oh, Banky's adorable, vengeful thoughts. Gotta love them. This story (and the one before it) was short and sweet, and just what i was looking for to fill the void that the odd, somewhat melancholy, ending left me with. It was a pleasure to read.
