"Izumi" is *not* Izzy's Japanese name. It's his surname. His first name in both the original and the dub is "Koushiro." "Izzy" is merely a nickname created for the dub. Calling him "Izumi" as if it were his first name is a no-no, especially since it *is* the first name of a character in Frontier (and a girl, no less).
