The story of these twin girls was beyond sad. It was good in the end to see at least the surviving twin, Izzy, deal with her loss and try to make her life having some meaning. So sad.
The story within the story was interesting too. Betti is a doll to lend LG out to further the story plot for a good cause.

Even reading it for the 6th or so time, I'm still absolutely floored by this piece! It's wonderful, and the way you guys worked LG in is miraculous. It makes so much sense and actually adds to the emotional depth, with Izzy's bucket list and all. Awesome!
You don't know what it means to me that - albeit by detour - LG made it into the fandom4autism compilation, thanks to the ingenuity, creativity and combined talent of the sweetest mother/daughter team that ever graced the fandom. Yep, I'm totally Team Diggan!
I love how you girl stayed true to yourselves with this one. Like I said before in an email convo with Nise, this one-shot has 'Diggan' written all over it... the themes you're both devoted to in your writing, the vibe and feel of it and how you always manage to make us forget this is not an emotional RL documentary but still fiction. Your characters always feel so real. The love for detail and accuracy... I could go on and on.
Thank you so much for writing this and for welcoming my boy in this adventure.
'Take care of my heart...' Cue Betti swallowing hard to keep the tears from falling. That famous, often quoted Twilight line has never pulled at peoples' heart strings more than in the context of Lizzie's and Ali's story.

Ouch! This is Not worthy of a "tissue alert"..shoulda been "box of tissues alert". Poor Alice, how she suffered in silence makes My heart hurt & liked how you included the infamous Twilight line! Absolutely lovely how you wove our beloved Little Green into Lizzy's life; he has certainly touched our lives indeed. Great story! Linda xo

That was truly awesome, I loved it so much, and it was such an interesting take on Little Green, and how his life intersected with Ali and Izzy. I thought there would be more of an interaction between him and the girls when they were older, but it was very satisfying, that seems a bit not adequate, but I loved the story. Quite a plot twist, I had expected Little Green to somehow be her guardian angel as he had interacted with Buttercup in another story, but was no less pleased with the outcome, sad though it was.
