I'm going to tell you one important thing. I don't like OCs and self inserts. Because the characters are just so... Unreal, unrelatable! Which is why I never read them.
But.
Your fic, with a self insert nonetheless, is great! It's really funny - I'm sorry, but balloons? *Dies laughing*

This story is so funny! I especially enjoyed the part where you wrote that the "native Narnians treated them like pipe bombs." I can totally imagine that they'd be scared of them since Narnia doesn't have balloons! Keep up the good work!

Hello, this is Strawberry M&M. You may or may not recognize me as co-author to the Twenty-One Chaotic Genres story that you so delightfully reviewed on. Thanks for that, by the way. I loved this fic, and can actually sympathize with you. Like with the swimwear. Yep. I always wear a T-shirt and a pair of shorts over my one-piece swimsuit when I go swimming. And when in Narnia? I'd probably be screaming and running around like a chicken with its head cut off. And yeah, I wouldn't have ALMOST killed Edmund, chances are, I probably would've! (Accidentally, of course.) Yeah, that would've been an awkward funeral. Like, "I just can't believe that Edmund's gone! Never mind the fact that I was the one who killed him..." And the balloons? Okay, so I'm not scared of them, it just shocks me when they pop! It's startling, right? Yeah. I'm reading this story and I'm like: "Oh, I feel her pain." Yeah. But still, keep it up!

It's ok to be afraid of Balloons, orthe noise. I used to bescared of a sowrd fishgetting stuck in my shower and i live quite far inland. Noises are strange and can be terrifiing.
It was quite funny and i have to admit that i wasn't expecting balloons. It was a tad bit jumpy in spots but over all well written.

Very cute! I really liked it. A lot of times I like the more serious stuff with Narnia, but today I was really in the mood for some Narnian humor and this sure did the trick. I loved it and I would really like to see more.

Bawhahahahahaha! Very funny! Very ridiciulous too...but only in the good way. Eustace just rubs everyone the wrong way before he goes scale, doesn't he? Popping balloons can occasionally freak me out like when a certain evil person decides it's funny to sneak up behind me and pop a balloon next to my ear...but clocks? You say don't ask, but that is compelling me to ask, why clocks?
