Damn, this was an amazing story! This last chapter really got me, though I'm not at all surprised that it did. The mere mention of it earlier in the story was enough for me to sob a bit. This chapter? Butt-ugly crying.

ahhh! so, you got my comment in ao3 yesterday on the other fic which meant I HAD to jump over here and do a reread of this one too... ugh, i forgot how much this little one-shot addition was such a damn punch to the gut! I was sobbing in the shower while i was listening to it this morning.
