Ok, I burned through this story! Very good. But I need to know, in the alternate ending, what is it that a Harry comes home asking about? I feel like I must have missed something there. He was so mad at Lily for "knowing" something.

It's kind of a bizarre twist at the end there. Sure, it's not as bad as the original books' epilogue, but it's still pretty ugh.
Except for the lacklustre "climax" and weird ending twist, it was an alright story. Worth a 6/10 at best, when it could've been a lot better.

That was very disappointing, author. I am disappointed. When the supposedly main villain goes down so easily, it invalidates the entire process that lead up to it. And the way the next bit of drama just rolls right along and also swiftly gets resolved makes that even worse. The whole struggle leading up to this "climax" is now hollow.
Pity. It had been a mostly competent tale before.
