I personally never found Caroline to be noticeably OOC in this story. This story is set in another time where people, especially women, were told to wait until marriage before bedding a man and it suits this time period. The weakness or naive Caroline to be would be from her sheltered life perhaps? Still enjoying the story.

Oh my gosh! This was such a good read! I begun reading this last night and finished this morning. I was shocked to see it was over all of a sudden but I saw there's a sequel. Anyway, it still amazes me how people can come up with such good plots! Incredible job!
