What I liked about path of radiance was that ike noted the strangeness in that people kept joining his troop. I mean, some of the base conversations were like
"Umm... Who are you, and how long have you been a member of my army?"
He just goes out to the desert and comes home with soldiers like an animal rights activist comes home with strays.

An excellent one-shot. I particularly like the intensity with Stefan near the end. The only way this could any better is if his occult were Aether instead of Astra, as in the game. You could also have Stefan realize this and remark on its potential strength; after all, Aether was more or less the most powerful and frequently activating occult in the game, if i remember right o:

Nice to see you again, my friend. I think I reviewed this before, so I'll say it again, or for the first time, if I didn't. Very nice battle scene...IMO the 'blue glow' is something I'd feel weird writing about, but it is in the game, so you had to portray it, and I think you did well. Great work :D
