This was excellent! I loved getting that scene from Sherlock's perspective. It was spot on! I have to say that I was slightly disappointed when I first notices that this chapter wasn't going to be Irene centric, but you quickly changed my mind! I loved it.
I can't wait to see how Irene will react when he will go back up to his room.

Whoops. Sorry about that. I was trying to say that I couldn't wait to see where things were going but my clumsy thumbs interrupted by accidentally pressing on the 'post review' button. I really don't know why I keep reviewing on my phone. Anyway!
I am liking this already established SherlockxIrene. I love their dynamic. I hope Irene is going to manage to reach out to him! I guess it's kinda her turn to 'save' him.

I'm glad you updated. Poor Sherley! Always trying to evict all they want. Sometimes I have wanted to kick him. But he'd better not to Iry away!
I hope to be reconciled with John, in the end, the poor is his only friend.

Very nice characterization of all characters.
It's very nice to see at least someone who wants to adapt that scene. It's just one of the most meaningful scenes in season two.
Sherlock wants to be sure every feelings won't affect him but it's false. Irene reached his heart and now he fears.
He denies it obviously for prideful reasons but he shouldn't. John is hurt and angry because of that and John knows Irene opened his heart.
Sherlock lies to himself and sometimes he ought not. Just like now. He needs help after all.
