That was sad. But I think you sort of made Sadie get over her brother WAY too fast. It my brother died (I don't really even want to think about that, but this is hypothetical) it would be at least a few days for it to sink in, and then I would probably cry for a few weeks, and then I would probably see a few things every day that would remind me of him. But on a happier note, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! And I love Nico and OC stories, so that is my vote.
