I enjoyed most of this, but I think you could've made it more epic by branching it into something more than a missed birthday, though I can understand why you'd want to keep it light. Anyways, nice work. This was written well and through a unique view point that I enjoyed. Keep up the good work :)

that was really good, I could so picture people deliberaty eavesdropping outside the door to the boys and their banter. poor Merlin though, wonder what Arthur'll do to make it up to him
