Really good stuff. You managed to capture the essence of both of the characters and their interactions with each other pretty well I think.
The dream thing was a little contrived, but not terrible. Good idea pointing out that it wasn't the dream that made him propose, but his own desire. On that note, the proposal at Koshien was a pretty good idea, though personally I'd always sort of imagined Ko proposing at the little sandlot field they played on as kids (where Ko learned to love baseball and not quite so hard to get to as the Koshien).
Overall though, great story. You should definitely write some more, as there's not nearly enough material on this site for this amazing series.
