I honestly loved the portrayal of Laufey in this. I've wondered from time to time if Loki was really left to die, or if Odin technically kidnapped him. Loki will definitely be far happier with his biological family. I only hope that Thor goes to visit him sometime. I think it would do them both some good to talk.

Well that’s one way it could have gone. I doubt anyone is going to forgive Odin for this. Not that I think Odin deserves forgiveness, Loki will clearly be better off on Jotenheim.
I liked that this Laufey is actually a decent person and the use of him as the view point character. Really nice insight to the possible politics of the situation and the emotions seemed quite realistic.
This was a good story. Thanks for writing and posting it.
