Wow, I've been following your stories from the HP fandom and just decided to randomly browse the Hikaru no Go fandom when I read this, checked the author's name and laughed.
This was spectacular. It was so self-contained yet had a bit of everything. Pure perfection. Please feel more than free to add another to this fandom. I simply adore your writing skills.
Much love from a fan,

This was wonderful. Hikaru no Go is a manga that truly touched me. It's one of the best I've ever read, and though it's been a long time since I've read fanfiction for it, the feeling will never go away. Thanks so much for writing this fic!

That... completely summarized the whole manga. That... was... just... wow. Sai was probably my favorite character in the whole manga, and yet, he left so early. I sort of wish he could have played more games, and attained his former goal - god's hand. Really, he worked so hard before, and then... he just died. It's too bad for him. But Hikaru was also competent in the game - surprisingly - and if you think about it, if Sai had taught Hikaru SERIOUSLY from the beginning...

PS: Good job! No grammar/spelling mistakes, awesome character portrayal, great writing style and nothing was rushed or slow! Great flow in the story! :)

This was a really nice piece. It was funny, and cute, and everyone was in character. And I liked the Terrifying Koreans. :)

Hmmmm this was an interesting concept with Sai as the teacher mores than obsessed with playing... I wish you would've maybe started the story in the middle so it wouldn't be as fast paced? I love the ending though where you described go as not fun but a duel to the death kind of match. And that Touya obviously found someone to spark his go, his eternal rival. I hope you'll wirte more hijack fics! I've been reading the deathwatch hng fics on the hikarunogo dreamwidth community this past month so maybe you'll find some inspiration there?

This is always a lovely read no matter how many times I have already read it.
And this is till my favorite part -
"The future suddenly stretches in front of Hikaru with perfect clarity. He can refuse to become a pro and be forever stalked by Touya Akira. Or he can become a pro and be forever stalked by Touya Akira.
Only one of the scenarios includes getting paid for the trouble."

Ha, poor Hikaru. And that last line made me happy. In fact, this entire fic made me happy.

A really nice take. I especially liked his realization while playing with Touya.
