Only thing I’m going to say with the name thing is back during the war I’m pretty sure Voldemort put a curse on his name so that anyone who said his name summoned death eaters to them, or at least let them know where they are. The curse has obviously long since passed but that’s why people don’t like saying his name pretty sure. But I love what you’re doing with this fic so far

awh, poor tucker. always getting the short end of the stick. he might not have liked it if his tech kept getting sabotaged by his own magic, though.

Awwww dang it I loved this sooooooo much and now I caught up and it’s been 5 years since you updated and obviously it’s been dropped and darn it I told myself that I shouldn’t read it because it’s on a hiatus aaaaaaaaaaaaa!
This is such a great story and I loved how Danny literally just dead slept in the ground to survive lol.

Love how you put Sam in ravenclaw while danny is in gryffendor when the characteristics you wrote Sam out in this story and her reaction to umbridge is that of a gryffendor. Sam is very out going much to Danny’s quietly endure and just take it attitude, heck most of the time it’s Sam who drags tucker and danny into battles while danny is usually annoyed or try’s to find ways out of a fight.
But I am really interested to see how the interactions play out, and if being in different houses cause them to be biased or if they will have a lot of influence in their house!

So I saw this on a rec list and remembered reading it so many years ago, and I binge-read it all again because I remember having a good time with it. Fantastic as it always was, that last chapter still had me on the edge of my seat and I didn't remember what happened exactly so I was super worried about Danny there before he came up from the ground again (thank goodness he was alright!). I know it's been years since this updated but I just wanted to let you know it was still as enjoyable as it was the first time around and that I appreciate all of it even if this will be all there is. If you ever do update in the future, I look forward to it, but still thank you for what you did post!

Gosh, if you're out there, please know I absolutely love and have been enjoying the voice and expression you have for Danny, and his developed competency without shedding his character to too much maturity. And acknowledging dumbledore's manipulation- specifically highlighting his efforts to hold back on it, are also fantastic and a wonderful inclusion. Thank you for writing and sharing, I look forward to catching up to chapter 19.

I like what you've done with Harry, the humor as a way of dealing with anger doesn't seem his thing, but getting a new idea that sort-of work and running with it without thinking about the consequences so is. I also find how you expanded the magic system while keeping with one basic rule well done and unique for HP fanfics. It's not just done to make Danny's appearance easier to explain either. So, nice.
I appreciate the direction this story's going and hope you write more.
