This is so beautiful! I cried when I read it. Many people think that An akin is evil to the core, after the third movie, but this helped me remember that he isn't. He's just a broken, misled man who lost his wife.

Absolutely lovely. Achingly beautiful. I must admit, I cringed through all three movies, with Padme and Anakin. Natalie Portman is an incredible actress, but she was given nothing to work with. However, I felt like you had a wonderful sense of connection when you wrote both characters.

Oh, this is a lovely piece about Anakin and Padme! You write very well, this is very good. I like the changes, you made them fit well.

I don't get the bakaindisguise's "not good enough for her' comment (honestly, what is that supposed to mean?!). But never mind. I really like the fic - at first, I've been a bit confused because when you mentioned Padmé's red/orange handmaiden outfit and the scene where she originally covered lil' Ani with a blanket, it didn't fit with the fact that Anakin is grown up in the first scene, but it turned out good, especially the second bit - I assume it was meant to be from the Geonosis aftermath (I like these vignettes about the in-between moments from the movies, especially the time between Geonosis and their wedding. :)

Wow. Just wow. I do not support Anakin and Padme's love as it is in the movies - mainly because Anakin is not good enough for her - but I liked how you portrayed them. I guess making him 17, hence more mature, smart and less selfish, really works :) I will have to thank Alydia Rackham for recommending this fic on FB. It was a nice read! Oh, and the poem about a boy and a girl is hearbreaking-ly beautiful :)

Wow... this was beautifully written. I like the twist of Anakin being older than in the movies - I sort of wish it had been that way canonically now! Anyway, your style is lovely. And I really loved that you referenced the Eric Whitacre piece! I love Eric Whitacre's work, but I had never heard A Boy and a Girl, so thank you for the introduction. It really did enhance the whole experience.
