I am glad you are not fond of Snape. Canon Snape was horrible to Harry merely because Harry looks like James Potter.

Quite unique in that Lily did not share the books with anybody. You also avoided the pitfall of other writers of "reading the books" stories which were actually plagiarism.

Another gaff...Ravenclaw is called RAVEN for a reason. An eagle is not the symbol.

This isn't bad, and I'm still reading, but it is such a cliche to use snakes as indicators of "evil". I know jkr does, but I don't like her doing it either. And that would make Harry evil, since he can talk to them. Thanks for sharing.
