Honestly I’m really starting to feel sorry for Gary. Sure he’s a jerk but the worst that can be said about him is that he’s a bratty kid. Clair is a grown woman who half assed her job for years, let herself get dragged into a feud with a child and actively abuses her power to further that feud.
If either of them deserves condemnation and embarrassment it’s her.

Great lighthearted chapter with an interesting ending. Especially loved the playful Mew and a thrown-off-guard Mewtwo.
A small bit of feedback, I would've expected Lance to check into Ash as well. I see how he (you) are trying to establish that this changes nothing, but I think it would be more fitting that Lance would also ask Ash how he is feeling about knowing Giovanni is his father, instead of only trying to reassure him.
I know your Lance is a quick on his feet action-oriented leader, and he knows Ash very well, but in this bit he's making quite some assumptions about how he thinks Ash is feeling, and I would argue another side of the character you build his also that he's empathic and thoughtful.
Anyway, looking forward to what comes next, as always!

Great chapter! The mey thing, I was wondering we're all that was going at first until this chapter which should make things interesting. The silver conference overall is going pretty well, Kinda wanted see some of the detailed fights but that better for later if you decide to do that. Finally that ending with Mewtwo their in the background as well gave me chills, bravo! Can't wait for the next chapter to see how this will go.

ah man, Oak really reminds me of Mr. Fantastic. Well, my mr fantastic headcannons, that is. A scientist, a bit absent minded at times, smart, a little goofy, strong, earnest, a visionary, and the list goes on. I wouldnt call Agatha a fem Doom, but when I squint and contort things enough, i can see it. An "interpretation," at the least. It just makes seeing them like this so much more fun.

I knew it! I knew he was still alive and imprisoned, and its finally confirmed after all these years. No one said he was officially dead when Mewtwo broke off from him. Joey's Rattata being Mew was quite a funny move.
