Recursion does not seem to scan well here, plus you have used it before. The ne plus ultra of something clever would work, as an alternative:

It's time for a revisit of my favourite fanfiction. I've had other favourites that have come and gone, but this one has always been up there, and under the light of time, I think this one has very firmly settled into the position of the very best fanfiction I know. Finished or unfinished, that doesn't change how wonderful each chapter is.I do hope, though, that this is safely preserved somewhere else- I've had a look around and can't seem to spot it anywhere else on the interwebs, which is a bit concerning to me given how this site seems to continue to have issues. It would break my heart to lose this story.

honestly i like the writing, it's just a bit to messy and of it's marbles. When I find stories like this, I often find that they go way to far, to bad really.

Out of curiosity, do you have a notebook for keeping track of your various threads and fish (scarlet and otherwise?). I'm content to noodle along at your pace, so long as there's assurance that all the myriad of hints, etc. will come out in the wash.
Since it looks like this will probably be my last opportunity to review for a while (looking at initial post date vs. update date), I just want to reiterate how much I enjoyed reading this- plot, characters, style, tone, research, compassion, analysis, originality- it's all been ace. Thank you.
