Seriously? They made Harry make a magical promise to not have a family? That is lame as hell. :/ All he ever really wanted was a family and here they are actively blocking that from happening until after a war happens, whenever that will be... If they love him, should they not be actively trying to fulfil one of his biggest wishes?

Two things: One, isn't Hermione ages ahead of her peers? Shouldn't she be already caught up, or rather never being behind once she moves? She reads the whole year ahead so half a year means nothing. Two: I really hope this stays just as Harry/Gabrielle?

I don't even know what to say, for god's sake story's name is Harry & Gabrielle, not Harry & Gabrielle & Hermione! I was getting irritated from first mentioning of Hermione being Mrs. Potter. As soon as it was verified, dropped it I don't even care anymore. But at least you could've mention Hermione since the story's name is screaming this is a Harry/Gabrielle story only and I wouldn't waste my time reading this story half way! Not a good day to you, since it wasn't a good way of ending a day like this for me.

You may have different rules (author's prerogative in an AU story!) in your Potterverse, but since Snape was the one to kill Dumbledore and take his wand, doesn't that mean its allegiance is to him? If Voldy follows these rules, that means Snape just signed his own death warrant.
Bummer! I guess we will never know if Moldy killed Snape or if he just died along with the rest of them. I suppose it doesn't really matter. The important thing is that the good guys survived.
Is Fudge still Minister? That means the Toad is probably still around somewhere ... which means not much will change. On the other hand, Madam Bones sounded pretty authoritative there. If she is the new Minister, things will definitely improve for everyone. I like Bonesie.

"Mrs. Weasley had insisted that her youngest boy deserved a chance to get back with the Granger girl." Did I miss something? Get BACK with Hermione? I didn't realize he had ever been WITH her. I think someone is having delusions, possibly fed by his mother. They weren't together in fourth year, and I don't think Hermione was at Hogwarts long enough in fifth year (One week? Two? A month?) to date anyone.
"... he'd only found and destroyed three of Voldemort's Horcruxes; the diary, Slytherin's ring, and Rowena Ravenclaw's diadem. Not counting the one in young Harry ..." I take it Dumbledore is not aware of the AK Harry took in the graveyard, correct? Or has he simply forgotten? Or does he have something more sinister in mind?
You know, at first I thought the anti-Dumbledore stories were just a novelty ... like the nice Snape ones. The more I have considered DumDum's canon behavior with Harry, however, the less I like him. A lot of his actions can be interpreted in a very different way if I squint just a little. He has acted outside the law - or changed it to suit himself - in order to imprison and control both Harry (Durzkaban) and Sirius (Azkaban first, followed by GP). He is a user and a manipulator, and he has WAY too much power over people's lives.
Unlike some readers, I don't dislike Harry/Hermione; in fact, they are a favorite pairing. Having said that, I would have preferred keeping him with just Gabi this time. It's just that I've found so few good Harry/Gabi stories. Oh, well ... just my two knuts. (FWIW, I'm not big on Ginny intruding into Harry's marriages in other stories, either, so it's nothing personal and not a criticism ... just an observation. Again, JM2K.)
Poor Tonks. This time, she was just helping. I think she and Remus need to high-tail it to France. I wonder if Dumbledore is still guilting Remus into doing his bidding. That could make it rough for a Tonks to leave. Hmmmm.
