Hmmm, this took my interest. It took it, ran off with it, and made it squeal like a big in the back of a pick-up truck. I am a fan of the odd contemplation story, and well, this was something I very verily enjoyed.

AAAAAH! This story was coool but I cant help but feel I be going through the same thing Davis is and I might be paranoid but I think you might make another story following this one. Other than that great work Phoenix Keeper Avalon keep it up!

It's awesome. But it seems unfinished to me. There's a lot of unanswered questions here to work with.
Who was the enemy they were fighting? Why did they kidnap Davis specifically? How will they react to his breaking free? How will Davis change after this revelation? How will the others take the new Davis? Who was his grandfather and what was he like? Why did he have such an impact on Davis? Will his parents reconcile?
With all of these questions, you've got the makings of a really good story. Just something to think about.
