Bravo! Great job! I think you did an excellent job of establishing the intricate personalities of both your new characters Anna and Beth. I also really liked how you showed their love and affection for each other. Your story moved along at a speedy pace and I was really shocked by chapter 22. I really liked what you did in chapter 22 too, because you made Aro extremely dangerous (which I love).
I’m definitely looking forward to part 2. :D

Hahaha I love Anna getting all protective. I thought the way you showed Marcus's gift was cool too.

You know there’s a part of me that thinks Beth is incredibly rude and I sort of want to see her put in her place. I can’t help but like her though. She’s like a pit bull, watching over Anna, and she’s so much fun to read. The little snippy relationship between Demetri and Beth is pretty entertaining.
I had been looking forward to the Masque and you describe it beautifully. That was sweet of Marcus to look after Beth and offer his friendship to her. And I thought it was very romantic of Aro and Anna to meet on the bridge. I had the feeling this chapter might end with a cat fight, but I didn’t think it was going to be with Beth. It’s probably better with Beth though, because if Sulpicia attacks Anna, I think Aro may become nasty.

Oh you did a lovely job with the letter. I feel like you captured so much of Antoine's personality and it really has the lovely old world feel to it. So Antoine knew. :D

Fresh blood and strawberries! I love it!
Poor Anna, she's not quite sure what to do. Her mind (and Beth) is telling her to stay far away from Aro and the Volturi, but this irresistible pull keeps drawing her in. And Aro is just a schemer. This is a very fun story. :D
