Honestly, this was a waste of time
Reading about a woman who let herself be dominated by a man and his family, a woman who couldn’t make her own decisions
And on top of that, a woman who has to raise another woman’s children and has a useless daughter (in terms of that time, her daughter will continue as her mother did, marry an old man and probably raise his children too) And even if Isabella has a son, it will not matter, he will have nothing because the inheritance and title will fall to another woman’s child. So not only Isabella will raise a boy who isn’t hers but she also will have to see her son have nothing
