I greatly admire your perseverance to finish this story. I have read several Authors' Notes from other sources and agree that T'Pol and Trip did not get the support that the characters deserved from the series. Thank you for your love of Trip and T'Pol and your dedication to continue their story.

This is an interesting story. I've been reading it all day and it's got some interesting nuances. It reminds me a bit of the novels. But not because of the content per se because of the idea. In the novels they came up with a solution of having Trip via agent of section 31. You didn't go with that exact idea but something similar. I particularly found it interesting that Trip is considered a citizen a Vulcan because he fathered a child with a Vulcan. I never thought of that as an option before. But it is an interesting idea that maybe one day I'll explore myself. Still, have grown to love the little band of merry men that are messing things up for the Romans and I would assume also eventually messing up plans for the bad people at the Federation.
I know this is a project you've been working on for a long time. I hope you're able to finish the story. It seems like to me you're about halfway done to 75% done. Hang in there and hopefully you get this finished soon.

Chapter 8 is so good! Trip and friends think they're going to their death only to be rescued by the followers of Kirak, T'Pol's father? This is such an exciting chapter. And Mita's backstory in Chapter 7 is riveting! So much fun to read your wonderful story again. Hope you are mending and send us some new chapters soon!
