Rest in peace General Giam. You wrote him so well that I actually mourn his death. That last charge of him and his troops was awe inspiring. Those who surrendered should have known that Fire Nation would kill them anyways. They should have fought to the death rather then surrender. Now it is up to Captain Lee and his remnants to carry on the struggle. Its sad that Toph didn't even bother attempting to liberate the prisoners.

I don't think the words refugees and freedom fighters are words Zhenjin and the fire nation would use when describing their opponents. It paints there foes in a positive light. They should be using words such as targets, escapees, and terrorists, or simply rebels if they want to be neutral.

In a way I actually agree with General Giam and would certainly join him over Toph. He really does seem like the only one who can actually fight a conventional war against the Fire Nation and have a chance of winning. Furthermore his soldiers are dedicated and seem unlikely to break. They all know the stakes, the Earth Kingdom could not ask for better soldiers.
