Hm would Hecate require to decide on one power? I mean Apollo is phrophecy and light.
Just for phrophecy I could imagine Luna. She already had the sight if untrained. Even though she loved to find animal or better fantastic beasts. She would be more likely to reanimate extinct breeds.
Well I have no idea if she is already together with Scamanders descendant or even with Neville.
Neville I won't include him to the animals but more to the nature and yeah light?
But could the magic also go to a child if bot a baby? The magicals are less likely to know it is god magic they would mostly see that the child has more power or specific powers more aligned.
Or put the purebloods on their head and give an incoming muggleborn from a lost Pureblood line (squib ancestors) the powers of god.
Hmm... either way the powers woumd need to get trained also... so do you want Teddy back in the story?
Isn't Artemis also the goodess of the hunt and childbirth?
Well maybe the powers could be split in multiple entities or combined differently.
It's almost a new pantheon. Yes Hecate belongs to the Olymp and with her somehow Harry. But truth be told Harry will be more his own group with additional magical gods it would be hell for anyone going out of line.

I'm not sure who should take over for Apollo, but Luna should take over for Artemis. Not just cause it suits her name, but Luna as the goddess of animals and nature? As for apollo's replacement...ehhh not sure.

You could have Luna as the prophecy one and Newt or Hagrid as the animals one. Hagrid would be a twist.
