Wow you write so beautifully. I felt my breath quickening as the story progressed. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to read this when it's going to get dark soon and my house has no power because of the hurricane. Well I guess I'll be sleeping with my flashlight to my chest tonight. It was worth it though :)

Ugh, Stress, I 3 you. Let me get my fangirling out of the way first: Yay, Skittery! Yay, Skittery -and- Jack! I love so, so much how you write them, individually and together. (I love how you write all of the characters, really.)
This was so good. I found myself skipping ahead a few lines before going back - you know how sometimes you just have to know what happens, or you get so nervous that you have to know if it's safe to read the parts you skipped? No? Am I the only one who does this?
Oh man, that ending. Nope. :( But still, so amazingly written.
